Our story goes back to middle school when we met on the last day of 8th grade. Little did we know that our after-school hangout would be the start of a lifelong relationship.Our friendship grew throughout high school, we were always there for one another as we navigated the typical ups and downs of teenage years. After high school, we went to college in different states, seeing each other when we could and somehow managing to remain a big presence in each other's lives. After graduation we found ourselves in the same city again - and after all those years, finally decided to give 'us' a shot.Since then we've packed in a lifetime of adventure! We've lived in 6 different cities, both abroad and stateside. We've traveled the world together from Myanmar to Morocco and from South Africa to Chile. Along the way we've found new jobs, new friends, new hobbies and new interests but through all of the adventures that life has thrown our way - it's always been us.
Sam planned a bucket-list trip for us down to Chilean Patagonia in March 2023. On the most beautiful of blue sky days, he organized a helicopter trip to a remote glacial lake in the Andes. We took an epic hike, SUP’ed in crystal clear blue water and then he popped the question. We celebrated with a lakeside picnic and champagne toasts!
